  1. I am right there with you Can'tweight, I can easily have a can of soup and then want more an hour later. I am very worried that I am going to be that 1 in a million failures. I am only 17 days out and starving. All soups make me want to gag now. I took 2 bites of lowfat cottage cheese and thought I was in heaven. I am just want some food I can chew!!!!!!!
  2. I can probably eat 1 - 1 1/2 cups. That worries me!! I fight head hunger all the time with all the commercials and seeing others eating. I guess I'm not one of the lucky one's who has lost their hunger. That makes me real sad.
  3. I had a difficult time with the anesthesia day 1 and 2. Day 3 is so much better. I am thinking about food way more than I anticipated. It feels more like a mental test than a physical thing. Hopefully this will pass.
  4. My surgery is in the morning at 8:30. Excited and totally freaked!
  5. I am right there with ya sister. I am scheduled for 03/07 with Dr. Nick. I lost it tonight. I started out with a salad and by the time I was done I had eaten 15 fish sticks, the salad and a blueberry bagel. Now I am stalking the pantry like a rapid dog. Please tell me it gets easier!
  6. Hey, I am with Dr. Nick as well. I start the pre-op 2/21 with my surgery date 03/07. I must say I am concerned with my ability to stick with the pre-op diet. Perhaps we will meet at one of support group meetings. Others I know that have been sleeved have very positive things to say about the group sessions. Good Luck and Keep us posted.
  7. Do you mind telling me what brand of juicer you got. I have been considering getting one but then get overwhelmed with all the choices.
  8. Yeah, a Sleeve buddy. I will be at Baylor Plano. Lets keep in touch.
  9. My surgery has been scheduled for March 7th and my anxiety level is rampin' up. It does help to read all the success stories so y'all keep posting and I will keep reading.
  10. Dr. Nicholson is my Doctor. I have my first appointment with him on 1/28 and will get my surgery date then. I have been very pleased with his office staff so far. My insurance will only allow a select few doctors and hospital. I will be going to Baylor in Plano. My brother used Dr. Nick five years ago and has done very well. He highly recommends him. Hope this helps.
  11. Gotthe thumbs up from insurance today and set my appointment with mysurgeon for 1/28/11. I am excited yet sooo nervous. I really enjoyreading all the encouraging post. Any one from the Dallas area thatused Dr. Nick Nicholson and Baylor Plano?
