My 1 yr Band Anniversary :0)

Well its been one whole year already! Wow I can hardly believe it. Even though I am only 40 pds down & have been at a plateau forever I feel really great! I have had minimal complications & hope none for the future. I have had my share of Pbs for sure but know that I am still learning everyday that I have alot to do before that"record" in my brain is changed forever.

I joined LBT I believe a whole year before my surgery(i'll have to check the date) and couldn't have asked for a more informative caring group of people. I have actually made some life long friends here & would have never expected that to happen.

What has changed for the better:

* Not out of breath running up the staircases.

* Being able to actually run up the staircases.

* Crossing my legs!!!

* Wearing underwear again & not getting sweat rashes

(gross I know but true)

* Putting on a size 16 & having them look WAY to Big

* Having sex again & feeling VERY sexy!

* Eating like a lady & NOT a football player!

* Getting compliments;0)

* Feeling like I see light at the end of the tunnel

(this one is huge for me)

* Knowing I can lose another 40 pds this next year

* Having sex again--ohh did I already mention that!

I will post photos hopefully by this Monday with the help of Penni.

Warmly

Christina

Thank you all so very much

Jamie- you're so very kind and I appreciate it.

I too remember Margo totally flipping out about making the Big decision.

One thing that I have learned for sure is

" The fight is never never never Over" Unless I go to heaven & than I will choose

a permenate size 8 ;0)

Christina you amaze me with your fortitude and such positiveness. It almost seeps from the very pores of your body. I just love ya girlie!! Now post those pics. I put the montage on the first post but add them here too.

Way to go on your first 40 lbs!

Go lift a 40 lbs bag of dirt at your favorite home store - 40 pounds is a LOT of weight to not be carrying around. You have every right to be dang proud of your progress :D

P.S. You look great - you can really see the difference ;)

Okay, now THAT'S what I'm talkin' about! LOOK AT YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fantabulously Gorgeous!!!!!!!!!!!!! Congrats!

Thank you PENNI for this great view of my before & afters. I just can't wait till I am another 40 pds down. It really makes me want to go workout right now. Also thank you for your kind words. I feel the very same of you!

Thank you Gwen & the best of me.

Ya know I would so love to have a big party one day with everyone who has lost let say 80 pds or more. We could all have huge photos of ourselves as our before shots around the room & than one by one all go & stand next to them for the whole room to see. ;)

Open bar & vegs for all!!

Christina, like Margo, I too remember the big "wait/weight", you were so patiently waiting, and now it's been a year!

Congratulations on the new you!

(Yikes that makes it exactly a year and a half for me, :omg: )
