Welcome to VST Dimitrios! You are so close and will soon be on the loser's bench with many of us here. You'll be in my thoughts in a few hours and be sure to update us when you feel up to it.

Hi Dimitrios,

Congratulations on deciding to have a VSG. I did the same a year ago and it had exceeded my expectations. I am very happy and I am sure you will be too.

All the very best,

Jane

Push any negative thoughts aside an just think positive! How healthy you are going to be, the clothes you will be able to wear, mobility will be increased, etc.

Take a look a the before and afters at the other site.

Good luck!

Tee Kanyes, Dimitrios

I hope you are well. I am Greek/American. All my grandparents were born in Greece.

You will love your sleeve. Welcome to sleeve talk. Hope to hear your update soon.

:tongue_smilie:

Remember we are here for you.

Dimitrios, Is this your doctor's diet plan for you for the next 2 weeks? I have never heard of a doctor wanting their patient to only have Water and tea for 2 weeks. Most doctors want their patients to drink some sort of liquid Protein.

sending healing thoughts your way!

Hi, Glad you made it through and are home recovering. The "too big liver" sounds like they didn't have you on a pre-op diet... Now that you are home..time to drink water and protein...there are lots of great ideas here on how to get that protein in...

Blessings as you begin this new life.

Thank you FatherJohn, jane and Oregon daisy,

you cannot believe how supportive to me are your words

My diet will be only liquid for 15 days because my doctor explain me that the stomachwill be reindent then. Now it is holded by the staples (sorry for my english)

beeing home I beleve is the best part of my recovery

I have one question do you have any esimation how many kilos I shall loose the first month the total amount of my extra weight is 90 kilos

thanks to all of you

hi demitrios, how are you doing? i wish i had seen this sooner, i had my sleeve done on 5/28 so i think we are surgery mates, i am amazed at how good i am doing,, how are you??/ i'm so glad that's over, and we can move on to the rest of our lives, if you like we can compare notes, take care, remember sip walk sip walk

Your English is great...don't apologize...keep writing and letting people know how you are doing. 90 kilos is 198 pounds... so you are on the path to losing that extra weight. Like Jean told you...sip...walk...sip.. and get that protein in so you body will heal. Greg
