Wow, Vines, that is awesome!

I would love to talk more, but I heard about this awesome new icecream diet where you lose 5 pounds by eating ice cream. The truck is backing up to my front door now and I have to empty all the other stuff out of the freezer before the ice cream melts. (I live in beautiful Florida too, and ice cream melts quick here).

LOL Cashley! *looking nervously around*

Vines! I'm SO, SO, SO happy for you! What a struggle you've had and are still having. Losing five pounds is just the kind of encouragement you need to keep moving forward. Congratulations.

If this thread gets locked, I will be SERIOUSLY pissed off. This thread was meant for a place for people to vent, harmonize, giggle, scream, yell, and whatnot. Leave it beeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

i think this thread is far from getting locked :) we are all working hard at proving that we can play well with others. now if we could just get telly to quick running with scissors and Geezer to quit eating glue our report cards home would be spotless. :)

This thread is in the Rants and Raves section. So rant and rave all you want Jenna I won't lock it. LOL!!! Shoot I might just join in the ranting and raving.

Rant = food is de debil

Rave = Food is de debil

There I feel better.

...Im sure the loss is due to stress and worry rather than ice cream. ...!

Actually, with my consistantly high stress levels, if it made me lose weight, I'd be on a board for people who were struggling to gain weight.

So, logically, the ice cream was closer than the stess.

LMAO Telly. Just remember

"1st RULE: You do not talk about FIGHT CLUB.

2nd RULE: You DO NOT talk about FIGHT CLUB.

3rd RULE: If someone says "stop" or goes limp, taps out the fight is over.

4th RULE: Only two guys (or girls) to a fight.

5th RULE: One fight at a time.

6th RULE: No shirts, no shoes.

7th RULE: Fights will go on as long as they have to.

8th RULE: If this is your first night at FIGHT CLUB, you HAVE to fight."

Something about that sounds hot... ~~maybe it's the thoughts of Brad Pitt and Edward Norton saying those words~~

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
