I would like to know what everyone's favorite brand of greek yogurt is? Also, do any of the brands make flavored sugar free varieties as they do with regular yogurt? I tried the Fage plain but I ended up putting honey in it as it was to bitter and strong for me. I liked the fruit mixed ones as well but I know that is all added sugar and I am trying to avoid adding too much sugar. As well, any suggestions on adding things to the plain to make it nicer? Thanks for the advice.

I like Fage, and Oikos brand of the vanilla flavored or plain. Tracey suggested using sugar-free strawberry jelly, that definitely helps.

Other people use the sugar-free Davinic or Toriani syrups to help cut the bitterness.

I mixed splenda with mine and that was enough for me to be able tolerate it.

You can also use greek yogurt in place of sour cream in Beans, or with a little marinara sauce just for a different flavor.

Get some davicni or torini sf flavored syrups that people put in coffee. they come in every flavor you can think of. I like raspberry and Peanut Butter. I also like to mix in stevia to sweeten it or sf jam.

I like Fage, Oikos and siggi's which seems to be new on the market. I think the Oikos is the creamiest and least tangy.

I agree Okios is best for me. If I want it sweeter I add a little stevia.

It's great to make Soups creamy and adds a hunk of protein!

I love Oikos, but I get Fage because of the high Protein and lower carbs.

I add the crystal light iced tea drink mixes - 5 calories, no carbs, no sugar.

It gives it a sweet taste with a little kick.

Okios Plain (4 oz)

70 12g 5g 5g

Fage 0% plain (4 oz)

60 10g 4.5g 4.5g

For the minimal difference, I prefer the taste of Okios. Everyone's different though...try them all.

I am eating the Dannon Greek plain right now. It is also a bigger container than the rest. I agree that it is an acquired taste but one I am willing to acquire so as NOT to acquire my spare tire (or 2) again!!! I actually add chocolate whey crisps to mine to really up the Protein content.

Dannon plain (5.3 oz)

cal 80

carb 6g

fat zero

Protein 15g

chocolate whey Crisps

cal 105

carb 3g

fat 1g

protein 20g

Okios is what I buy....the plain because the carbs are so low. I add stivia to sweeten it when I make a smoothie or whatever and last night I used it for sour cream on a baked potato, and so did my husband....it really does taste like sour cream!

I really like Brown cow. It has 23 g of Protein per 1 cup and I'm on full liquids and can add it to my shakes and it helps me get to my goals!

I like the Brown Cow too, but they don't carry it in our little town. I've gotten it before when we shop at the Woodlands, a large grocery store about an hour from us....but we aren't there on a regular basis! It is also less expensive, which is nice!

I actually found it in our Walmart. Walmarts all carry different stuff but I bet if you request it they could get it for you.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
