I had the Vertical Sleeve 4/16/09. It was laproscopic day surgry and I went home a few hours after and was very comfortable. To date I've lost 35#'s. I'm walking "the loop" around my neighborhood every morning and that is .8 of a mile with no problem so I'll soon increase the distance. My Doctor is Peter Billings of Edmonds WA. He's someone I felt comfortable with from the start and takes the time to make sure you understand everything. The real wonderful thing is the 2 year program with nutritional consulting and physcial instruction. Getting the water in is still difficult but am working on that as well. I have alot of challenges around me right now but must remmember "You can't take care of anyone else if you haven't taken care of yourself!"
