Any suggestions on what to do?

Just had band placed in this morning. My 40lb dog jumped on my stomach while I was asleep. She awoke me with some excruciating pain in my upper abdomen. Any suggestions on what I should do? I sipped on some hot tea, did a little walk around the house. Can't get any relief and now concerned.

Thanks in advance for an input you can assist me with

call your surgeon. they should have someone on call after hours!

Have you checked your incisions to make sure nothing separated? Can't imagine how that felt. I would say if your incisions haven't split and you're not excessively bleeding I wouldn't stress about it. Have a nice pain med induced sleep and call the doc in the morning.

Ice packs? Hope you feel better soon. Our dog is outside, probably looking for the porcupine she got into last night. Oy!
