how to say no thank you

Today is my birthday and everyone wants to take me out to eat...How can i say no with out them thinking I'm being stuck up since i got the band.

    Thanks for the birthday wish..but its so much band friendly food you can eat..i have had breakfast, brunch, lunch,happy hour now dinner no more food

    Happy birthday!!! You could still go but maybe have a cup of tea. I have learned to still enjoy myself with others even when we celebrated at places that are not so vegan friendly :)

    no thank you sounds like a nice thing to say when you dont want to inmy opinion...not eating is not being stuck up...just think of it as you making good choices
