Dear God, Plz hlp my Reeces addiction

Recommended Posts

I do ALMOST ALL of my Groc shopping on line, On teusday mornings, in my underware ( sometimes not) I have been doing this for about a year. No screanming kids, no line, no impulse brownies in my cart. IT's GREAT, the lady that does the shopping has even got to know me and picks better produce then I do. Its time consuming at first but you add a few things to your list a week and before you know it your going down the list just checking things off. Currently it takes me about 30 min to do 2 weeks worth of shopping. The only thing I go to get is specialty Items at the health food store. ( and my albertsons will order alot of specail Items for you if you ask) and Trader Joes. Because I love trader Joes.

you should look into it its a great way to keep a clean house and for the shopping and delivery charge is 10 Bucks its well worth my money.

Dear Dear Mini me,

A women after my own heart! I too am a Reeses junky.................

It's the reason I am so fat in the first place and the reason I can't seem to lose even on the lap band.

I found the new thicker reeses with nuts even better than the old standbys too and now there making them with extra Peanut Butter on the outside instead of all chocolate and they are sooooo good too.

I have a serous problem and I need to address it.

I'm not the kind of person to just give something up for good, It's like dropping a best friend. So I've incorporated them once i a while in my diet. Otherwise I dream about them and then I go crazy..........

So your not alone my friend.

I tried to watch what I ate pre-banding, for a bit anyway, so I only allowed myself 1 since they came out but have you guys ever had the chunk Reese's? The ones that are two or three normal cups all rolled into one... there's a TON of PB in those. Mmmm. Now back to my sad simulation of a "choclate and peanut butter" Protein Bar.< /p>

Why don't you buy some all-natural Peanut Butter (I use smuckers. for 1 tbsp, there is 105 cal, 8g fat, 3g carb, 4g protein) and some viactiv chews (1 piece has 20 cal, .5g fat, 4g carb, and 0g protein).

I would mix together about 1 teaspoon PB & 1 viactiv chew. The nutrition info would be 55 cal, 3.15g fat, 5g carb, and about 1.3g Protein.

And then, I would just lick the mixture from a spoon. Don't let yourself bite or take any pieces in your mouth. Make it last as long as possible. Make sure you count it into your daily food journaling. Limit it as much as possible (i.e. don't have it every day - make it your occasional treat).

I HAVE GREAT NEWS!!!

you know, ever since i got this band, i really have not committed myself to the necessary practices to achieve marked success...thus i have only lost 20 tiny little lbs since march. but today, i had an NSV that was not even weight related!! i completely attribute this NSV to my band, and the way that it has, indeed, modified my behavior.

i go for a tweak tomorrow. i have been beating myself up, like i do before every fill because i have not lost more weight. in a moment of weakness, i bought a king size pack of reece's pb cups. got to the car, could not even weight...i mean wait...to get out of the parking lot and i had the package ripped open. i stopped to get gas, thinking i would finish the pack off while waiting on the money meter to stop rolling.

would you believe that i finished the one single cup and did not want anymore? i was actually able to recognize that the single cup was enough to satisfy the madness.

i tickle myself sometimes...i know, that's perverted, i shouldnt do that...AAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! i am so happy!

Oh my, I too have recently discovered a form of Peanut Butter ice cream that is going to be the death of me. It is Breyer's peanut butter tracks. It has mini chocolate chips and big strips of peanut butter and I am in love. I don't understand this at all either. Pre-band, I was not an ice cream person, I never have been. It could be in my freezer and I was not even mildly tempted. I got fat on the crunchy, salty stuff. But this darn peanut butter tracks ice cream, I can't say no. The only good thing about it is I eat some and feel so guilty that as soon as I am done I immediately head for the treadmill.

AAAHHHHHHHHHHHH---ladies, thanks for noticing. i relayed this incident to my friend, butterfly1973, as my most significant NSV...and it has NOTHING to do with weight or inches or being over to tie my shoes...and the laces being on the top of the shoe instead of the sides....aahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
