I'm officially in limbo land. Hurry up and wait!

As of Thursday, August 8 my Doctors office has all of the information, letters, reports to send to my insurance company. I really hope I am done jumping through hoops! Wish me luck, I have Cigna and have heard they are tough.

Good luck! Insurance companies are all different but it sounds like you have everything in order. Let us know how it goes! :)

I have Cigna and with all my paperwork in order, the approval came in about 10 days. Keep calling them to find out if you are approved even if it means calling daily. it's just a caller system so you're not pissing anyone off. good luck!

I am going through the same thing... My doctor's office had everything as of August 5th and I don't even know if they have submitted yet??? I hate this part!!

Call call call, wether its the insurance company OR the doctor's office. AlWAYS be your own advocate! For other people this is simply a pay-check, for you this is your LIFE!!

I have called and e-mailed with no response... I myself work for a doctor and know that someone calling multiple times can be stressing, however because of that I have not called them since last Tuesday. I called the Insurance this morning and they see nothing. I emailed on Friday and left a message this morning... I hate waiting!!

I also have Cigna. When my paperwork was submitted I was denied twice. My doctor then had to do a peer to peer review and now they requested extra documentation so that was submitted on Friday of last week. I hope everything goes through ok so I can really begin my journey with the help of the band. I think with Cigna it all depends on the the reviewer is. Hope all goes well. Good luck. I will keep my fingers crossed for us both.

I am calling my doctors office after lunch to see if the stuff is submitted yet. As soon as it is, I will call every day. The squeaky wheel gets the grease, right? Lol

I think I will do the same!

I missed the call back, but my docs insurance person left a message staying that I need one more report, but it should be easy to get. I'm supposed to call her back in the morning. Trying to stay cool, but I'm eager to get this thing done. I'm already eating better and have lost lots of weight, but I don't like having it looming over my head.
