1 month Post 8 Op- can i eat A flatbread pizza

I have been doing great ! I have been counting calories through My Fitness Pal and am currently on 1000 calories per my doctor. Staying away from sweets , breads, no no rice . Mainly protein and vegetables. I am on solids and wonder can I do a flat bread pizza as long as I stay within my 1/2 - 1 cup of food and within my calories. Thoughts? Help!!! My dept is going out for lunch ...

Your in a crunch.... so I would only eat the toppings and avoid the bread as much as possible (but stay to your portion size on the toppings).

If you can stop at 1/2 of the pizza, I think you can. Plus you can plan to exercise a little more on that day to burn it off.

I stopped! At less than half. And I will b burning it off majorly tonight!

I eat pizza, but it has to be a really thin crust... I call it pizza on a cracker. And I can only eat one piece. I don't feel the least bit guilty. The cheese and the pepperoni are both protein.

This was super thin! It was just like a cracker!

If it works for you, go for it!
