my new favorite for liquid week...

Swansons now has flavor infused broth... I bought the Mexican tortilla flavor, and it was awesome! All the flavors of tortilla soup without any chucks! It was so delicious, and has a great spice kick. I can wait to actually cook some chicken in it when I get to solids. They also have a Chinese hot and sour flavor, and one other, but I don't remember what it was.

Sounds real good. My surgeon has us go on 2 days clear liquids after a fill, so this might be an alternative after a fill, too. Hot and sour soup helped me survive clear liquid weeks.

I just started my pre-op liquid diet, I can't wait to try these. Thanks!

Just pay attention to the sodium levels. During preop and postop liquid phases, not so much of an issue but once you are on solids and eating 'normally', keep an eye on that kind of stuff. Sodium means water weight and that means the scale doesn't move like we want it to. I loved soup and now consume is sparingly for that reason.

I haven't seen those, I have to check them out. I had trader joes black bean soup it's liquidy like a broth but with a bean spice flavor. Once I'm off mushy foods I'm going to make it with some real beans chicken some veggies and sour cream. A nice yummy protein filled meal.
