I saw some that were specific to after lapband or wls. I get bored easily and I can't eat yogurt and eggs for bfast everyday. I've been craving waffles and caved today and ate a whole wheat waffle with peanut butter. I need to have recipes on hand and diff ideas.

How many calories?
- How many calories?
I forgot to ask last time how many calories I should be eating now, I am 217 as of this morn and I'm eating around 900 to just under 1200 calories a day. Is this about right? Too much or too little? I've been walking but haven't started an exercise routine yet. I need to start but it's sooooo hard with 3 kids a full time job and full time school. I've been looking into quick workouts so I can squeeze them in.- First almost stuck episode.
- First almost stuck episode.
Had my first fill on Monday and today I ate a peice of turkey and cheese for lunch and I guess I swallowed without chewing too good and I felt it go down weird. I took a sip of a drink and I felt the coldness trickle down with the food sooo weird. I'm just glad it passes down. Neverrrrrr want to get stuck lol.- First fill today!!
It wasn't sooo bad. It barely hurt just felt really weird. I only have 1cc in my band now that I got put in yesterday. I had nothing in it from surgery.- First fill today!!
I am soooo nervous about this giant needle being stuck into my yummy lol. I'm ready for this bc I am deff able to eat more and my weight loss has been stuck for the most part in the same spot now for 2 weeks. I just got back from Disney and despite all the temptations I ate mostly good. A couple of bites of desserts here and there but i ate proteins first and always veggies as my sides and I still managed to lose 1/2 pound lol- Long island in the house?
Suffolk here. Had surgery July 31st with dr. Angstadt- I'm hungry!
I was and able to drink wayyyyy over the required water amount and while I'm eating less i can still eat over 1/2 cup. I was banded July 31st start weight 243 current 219. But I've been stuck here for 2 weeks. I was supposed to have first fill on the 10th but I'm going away on sun on a airplane so doc said to wait until I get back. I am soooo ready for it. Currently I can't eat anything without problems. It's hard but I avoid the junk. I'm having a hard time with the carbs though. I love my Special K for breakfast In the AM and my whole wheat waffles with peanut butter.

Besides weight loss, what has been the biggest benefit since getting surgery?
- Odd pain?
I have been feeling and doing great. Surgery was July 31st. These past 2 days I have this weird soreness type feeling in my mid abdomen opposite site of port. Not sure if this is lapband related or not. It's not an excruciating pain more annoying. I was thinking gas or constipation at first but I'm passing both regularly. Any ideas or do you think it's even lapband related?- Feeling good
I'm feeling great. Having no problems with food. Going for my first full sept 22nd after my trip. I have noticed sometimes after I eat I get a weird feeling like a small pain in neck maybe in eating too fast? My weight loss has stopped for now at 218. But I was 243lbs in July be pre op so I'm feeling good about that. I just can't wait for my fill and for the weight to pour off.- Flying with the Lap Band
I have A metal plate in my arm I've never set off detectors. I'm flying soon also and was just banded. All good things to know.
