Any other September 2013 bandsters?

I know it's early, but wondering if there's any one else getting ready to get banded in September? I have one more Ins required weigh in Aug 19 then my paperwork gets submitted for approval!

I was already told I'm on the schedule for September 27! Fingers crossed!

Carolinagirl - may I ask where you are now with your weight loss? And how you progressed over the months...like a month out, 3 months out etc? Thanks in advance!

I'm struggling over here...I'm fairly certain I haven't gained. But I'm hungrier more and more. I had my first fill early November - I think it was the 6th. I only got .5cc's in my 10 cc band. I get another fill December 18th and it can't come soon enough! I know I'm not doing all I can be doing by not making the right choices :(

It's been hard with the holidays and with being able to eat most anything. Really hoping to get more motivated with my next fill. How much do you all have in your bands now? Are you losing more with each fill? Noticing differences? Need some motivation and good fill stories with good results! Please :)

I'm feeling the EXACT same way! My fill is 12/19 - day after yours. I'm not gaining but not losing either! It is so discouraging...

I've been walking around the parking lot at work during my lunch time (30 minutes). it averages to almost 2 miles. I find I'm too tired at night after working all day to exercise and I'm just not a morning person so this seems to be the best bet for me...

BUT, I still don't have a handle on food choices all the time. Baklava got me this week!

hey GA

i am 18 months post op and down 150 pounds..

went from size 30 pants to a 14 now..

lost steadily monthly...focused totally on what my dr told me to do

for best results......eat protein, veggies. fruit....and i tweeked it to include no rice, bread, pasta, potatoes...by my own choosing....and def let the band tell me when enough is enough...and to always stop at 1 cup or 1 1/2 period....and lets not forget exercise......and this is where i am today...

do you think the /plication helped? or do you think the lap band would have been enough?

Where is my group? Is everyone doing ok? Ready for your next fill? Struggling with the holidays?

My second fill on Wednesday. Have had an official weight since November 6th but I weigh daily at home (or every other day) and I think I have had a little weight loss since I received .5cc added to my band. Hoping for more and hope to want less food. We shall see! I know I'm responsible for this tool I have and love so I am trying to better with my food and only eat or drink when I'm truly hungry. Just got to start exercising!!

Wow I should have read that post before I sent it - so many mistakes lol.

My chest pain has gone away quite a bit (occasionally feel it), but now I have a cold! I just can't catch a break!! I have an appt tomorrow. I am going to ask for an unfill. I have zero appetite and have to force myself to eat and drink. Def. too tight. I'd rather err on the side of eating too much than not enough.

I'm losing weight quickly. It was so cool at first, but now I'm scared I'm going to end up with damage of some sort. I've lost 60+ lbs in 4.5 months. What do you think? Too fast?

I would be happy with any real weight loss! It seems some people lose that much especially because you have been very cautious about following the rules. Being sick probably sucks...try stage one again...soups and protein shakes until you feel better. Of course, its always good to ask your doctor tho...

I hope you get better soon :)

Wow! That's fast and a lot of weight loss. I'm 2.5 months out and only down - rough estimate - 25 pounds. Hoping to see an increase in weight loss after my next fill. I also plan on starting to exercise.

Just checking in. Down 45 pounds since surgery date. Things are going good. Pain that I had is getting better another fill scheduled for January although I don't know that I need it honestly.

Hi Carrie! Aren't you from middle ga as well? 45 pounds is great! What are you doing right? Definitely could use some ideas, motivation etc. :)

Nope I am from Wyoming. Not doing anything special I don't think. I only eat 1/2 a cup when I am hungry which is maybe twice a day and do a protein shake once a day. I need to get back into the gym though.
