Banded Saturday. Should I be feeling this bad?

Banded Saturday by Dr Super at Dolan Park. Great experience. Home now and cant believe how bad I am feeling. Not sure if something is wrong? nauseous but have not been sick. Everything hurts. Not hungry at all. Is this normal?

Hi, I was banded Wed and felt aweful for 2 days, I took my pain meds and slept a lot! Keep drinking (sip sip sip) your Water, and walk around to get rid of the gas. The gas can almost make you feel like you have the flu.

Good luck! :) and Congrats!

Sounds about right (wink) Give yourself a full week to recover from pain and initial GI issues.

I felt pretty bad for the first four days. I could get up and around okay but felt like I'd been hit by a truck. Take the pain meds and anti-nausea meds if you have them. If you have any concerns feel free to call your doc's office. That's why they're there!

Yes, pretty normal. walk as much as you can. It relieves pain and gas. Probably won't be hungry, drink your clear liquids. sip, sip, sip!!!!

Yes, that's normal. It gets better.

I'm on day 4 and feeling somewhat better just glad I can start full liquids, the protein I need to more flavors, I'm tired of vanilla!

Sounds pretty normal to me.

You just described my banding experience. I am 5 days post op and am finally starting to feel like a normal person again. Just take it easy on yourself, drink lots of water and catch up on some movies. If you have some nausea medicine, take it. Time is the only thing that will make you better :(
