Banding tomorrow

I think I'm all set! Reporting at 530am to sit around and wait I'm sure. They said my surgery time is 730 and realistically I may be coming out of surgery around 930am. I didn't have to do a pre op diet... They told me to drink as much as possible today for hydration and have a light dinner. It all happened so fast! Less than a month from consult to banding! Anyone else scheduled for tomorrow???

Congrats Rebecca! I am set for Tuesday June 25th. I am nervous but trying to stay busy and keep my mind off of it. They told me I could eat dinner but nothing after 12 midnight. I was surprised. I think I am going to eat a light dinner. Worried about the nausea though. Now that read about the sneezing I am worried about my cough. I have had bad allergies with a cough for a week and not looking forward to that pain. Keep up the good work!

Thanks Allyson and congrats!! My only advise is to have a small pillow with you and pull that close to your tummy prior to a cough. It will hurt though, just no getting around it.

Yes, coughing does hurt! Also, I had a hiccup day 2 and thought I was going to pass out! I had a hernia repaired so that could be part of it too. Good luck!!
