I just had my surgery by dr Neal on the 17th of this month. My experience so far has been great. Do you all attend the support group meetings?

Hi all. I couldn't find the posts at first either! I was banded on the 17th. It's back to work for me tomorrow. I'm still having quite a bit of incision pain but other than that I'm all right.

Thanks Allyson and congrats!! My only advise is to have a small pillow with you and pull that close to your tummy prior to a cough. It will hurt though, just no getting around it.

I agree the wait was the worst. I'm almost a week out and the part I was least prepared for is the pain of the incisions. There is some muscle pain and deep shooting pains at first with certain movements. That surprised me.
