  1. I was banded on June 24. I have not had a full yet but I seem to be able to eat what seems to be about the same prior to banding. Is this normal? I can't get my first fill til aug 8. I am trying to control it. I have lost some weight since being banded not much though. Does the weight seem to come off more once you get a fill?
  2. Thank you everyone. I will try the extra pillows. Good luck to you all as well
  3. Was wondering as anyone been sleeping on their side? I am post op day 5 and have tried but the last two nights I have had to get up and sleep on the couch with a heating pad because of back pain
  4. Try the isopure protein drinks already made. They taste like Gatorade. They are really good
  5. Thank you everyone. I am looking forward to week 3 when I can add the yogurt and pudding. I don't like broth, I know weirdo, but the jello and pops are helping. Thank god for this forum ???Š
  6. Thank you I will try that. Now do you drink water along with the isopure or stick to one at a time
  7. I am day 5 post op on the full liquid diet. I feel very hungry. Any suggestions to help kill the hunger? I have protein shake made with almond milk in the morning then throughout the day I drink my isopure protein drink and some water.
  8. I also got banded on Monday. I seem to still have gas that does not want to escape. And when I try to burp I get a heavy uncomfortable sensation in my chest where the band is. Today I went for a walk outside with my daughter and my calf felt crampy and when I got home I felt nauseous
  9. I had my surgery on Monday and I am still very sore and am still having problems with gas. It is not coming out causing pain at my stomach where the band is. Also wondering is it normal for where the port went in to be a little swollen

  17. Good luck to everyone tomorrow. Miss Mo you will do great!! I was so nervous heading to the hospital and while waiting to go in. After wards I was so happy. I was sore. Definitely have them give you 2 ice packs and them put a blanket or pillow over them to provide some pressure. That truly helped out enormously
