  1. I'm going with Oregon! Oregon beaches are awesome! I live in Wa now and am seriously considering moving to Oregon closer to the Ca border.
  2. Four days post op now and feeling okay. Still some muscle pain in my belly around the bigger incisions. Other than that I'm good!
  3. I took full body pics from all angles!
  4. I'm 3 days post op and still getting nauseas but I think it's the pain meds. Have you had your first post op check with your doc?
  5. Are you still on pain meds?
  6. Thanks LMB! I hope yours goes smoothly also!!!
  7. I'm home. Well got home yesterday around 1pm. Surgery went well. When I talked to the doctor last night he said it was one of the easiest cases he has ever had. I guess I had very little organ fat? I should be glad the fat is on the outside and not on the inside! I barely got anything into my system from 1pm when I got home to this morning. The liquid Vicodin was making me nauseated even with the anti nausea pills so I just stopped taking it. I dry heaved once and once I threw up a little Gatorade. Today is much better. I've had half a protein drink successfully and about 3 oz of water. The gas isn't as bad as I expected but it is still early. I've been doing laps around the house each time I get up to go to the bathroom. Thanks for all the well wishes and glad to be on the other side!
  8. I think I'm all set! Reporting at 530am to sit around and wait I'm sure. They said my surgery time is 730 and realistically I may be coming out of surgery around 930am. I didn't have to do a pre op diet... They told me to drink as much as possible today for hydration and have a light dinner. It all happened so fast! Less than a month from consult to banding! Anyone else scheduled for tomorrow???
  9. Congrats! Wow - that shoulder pain everyone talks about is what I am looking forward to least! Can't wait to hear about all your success!
  10. oh gosh, wow, sounds like someone really dropped the ball. I am so sorry. Hugs

  13. That hasn't been mentioned to me at all. My preop appointment is on the 12th and my surgery is on the 17th of this month.
  14. I have united healthcare military west (tricare) and had my approval on day 6.
  15. I have my preop appt on the 12th (next week!) and my surgery is on the 17th!!!
  16. I got my approval today also! Feeling about the same - super excited but also nervous. I am more excited though... I am just so ready to start this new chapter in my life. Congrats to you! Any idea what your surgery date will be?
  17. Thank you! I can't wait!
  18. Approved!!! Woot!!!
  19. My insurance still has it. Been pending since may 24. They said 5-7 business days for processing. 7 days will be Tuesday. Ahhhhhh!!!!
  20. My insurance will pay of its been over a year since weight loss surgery and a 100 pound loss or more is documented.
  21. I think waiting for the insurance to respond with my approval is more nerve wracking than waiting to find out if I was pregnant!!!
