Hello! I'm still alive and well. Two thing... Anyone who ever says that wls is the easy way out is full of crap..my 90 day challenge is challenging. Second, this CPA exam is kicking my butt. Hard stuff. Studying hard and craving chocolate ( I hate sweets usually)

Good thing there is wine in the world. Had a glass of old vine zin and now I'm off to bed. Sorry I haven't been up on you lives. Hope all is well. Miss hanging out. My one year bandanniversary is on next Sunday...can't believe it!

I knew that CPA exam was going to be tough and can totally understand the stress you must be under. Like most of us, stress= cravings= LBS not being the easy way out.lol

The hardest part of my knee replacements hss been the inability to sleep and when laying awake all night, all I want to do is eat. I have not had an eating at night problem, until know.YIKES!

Not sure my Dr will buy that excuse.....

I bet your 90 challenge is keeping you in good shape.

you can do it!

We were banded 10 days apart. Hard to believe a whole year has gone by.

In 1 yr I was banded, port revision and 2 knee replacements, I am done!!!

If we don't see you, Happy Bandiversary Rockstar!

Mini hang in there and you are correct, anyone who ever said this was easy is full of crap. I am challenged daily with eating the right food and making good choices . In times if stress I crave sweets, something new for me. I allow myself dark chocolate on those nights and chase with wine. Lol probably not the best option but better than eating the whole package or drinking the whole bottle.

I had a friend who sat for there CPA and I feel for you ,she said hardest thing she ever did.i know you can do this ,if you can live with LB you can accomplish anything. We are always here for you .

Wow, congrats on your anniversary too! 19 years is worth celebrating!!! Hubby must be so proud of you for so many reasons!!!!

How's your son doing? How was the exam? How are YOU? Did you wash Bon Jovi's sweat off of you? You were definitely close.

You wouldn't wash Bon Jovi's sweat off of yourself, at least I wouldn't.

Happy belated 19th anniversary, skinny mini!

Makes sense that one rockstar would hang out with another rockstar.

Talk about wanting to jump some bones! Ugh...good thing my hubby is hot!

Studying is still going strong. I hate it!

I haven't received my approved application back to even sit for the exam so I'm a ball of nerves. The window is oct-nov only.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
