Terri, I just ordered a queen size quilt pattern from ConnectingThreads.com. Its called Parisian Nights. I have been looking for a quilt for Ange & Evan and this was in American Patchwork & Quilting, August issue. I fell in love with it, the minute I saw it. They had a promo code for 20% off $51 no shipping fee.yippee I couldn't buy all the fabric, backing & stuff for that price.

I forgot to tell you what I did at the gym this morning. One of the exercises was to take this big band and do lunges with them. You basically stand on the band with your front foot and then stretch it out over your head with your arms stretch out out really wide and then drop your back knee. Well this girl had the band slip out of one of her hands and smack her square in the side of the head....omg did it ever hurt. I had a welt down my left ear and neck and my left arm. Now it's bruised. Good thing I was using the red band that has lower resistance and not the black band. I would have knocked myself out had it been the black band.

Long story Michele, but I have been there on a boat and the handle hit me in the face and knocked be down the stairs. Two bruised ribs and a black eye. You won't catch me using those suckers again!

Storm passed through here and no ponds in my backyard... watching with angst the double ot for the Chicago Blackhawks. I don't normally watch but when my boys are in the finals, I have to. ;-)

Michelle, oh my... that sounds horrible. You too, Terri. That sounds like something I would do!

echo, echo... oops

Diane, so sorry about things coming to a head but maybe it was "rock bottom" so things can start looking up for you now. I pray that it all comes together and you and your family can make it all work. You are an amazing woman.

You almost had me ready to try this. Can't afford to knock myself out though.

You poor thing, that really had to hurt. Are you going to try it again?

About the mosquitos, to wet and nasty to see if it works. I stepped outside for 2 seconds, saw a flash of lightening and came back in. You don't mess around with lightening in FL.lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
