Actually not as bad as I thought. Been drinking tons of water and eating jello. I worked all day and have been in deep clean mode. Hospital cAlled and I got bumped. I now have to be there at 930 in the am and my surgery is set for 11.

I cleaned for the last two days too. Lol! I figured I'd feel better if my room was cleaned. Then I totally rearranged my side of the bed with a bigger side table and a basket for all my books, medicines, chargers, etc. Now I'm settling in to read a chapter and hopefully go to sleep. You're just an hour behind me tomorrow, I'll wait to hear from you! Good luck!

Good luck to all who have their sugery tomorrow! :D

Prayers for peace today would be much appreciated!!!! Freaking out a bit about the surgery part.. Surgery is for for 4 hours away.

Hello! So it's been a week and a day since I had my lap band surgery! I have lost 20 lbs, and I feel great! I haven't felt like I've been recovering from surgery at all, my life is back to normal as it was, including the foods I can eat. I have followed my post-op diet pretty well, but have noticed when I slip up that some foods they say will bother you, don't. An example, my family and I went to eat Mexican food a few nights ago, and I ordered refried beans( on my doctors list), but they came with a side of rice( not on his list). I ate some rice , and had no problem with it at all? I know no matter what I should follow my doctors list, but it's difficult...

Solson8201- how are you??

Just got home from the hospital. Feeling ok right now. Gas pain is the only thing bothering me- makes it hard to take a deep breath.

I'm feeling good too. I was very nauseous after surgery from the anesthesia, which was pretty miserable. Better now though. I got home a little while ago. Gas pains not too bad (I think because all the wrenching made me burp a lot). Glad it went well for you too! Talk to you tomorrow :-)

utkscvol1, hope all went well. How are you doing?

Time4Kim, Good luck with your surgery! Best wishes! :)

Thank you, ArtM - How are you doing?

Solson8201 & utkscvol1- Glad to hear you ladies are both doing good and are home. My prayers are with you that you continue to feel good. I am just a few hours behind you... ready, but nervous.

Lots of luck tomorrow to all of the June 14th bandsters! ;) Hope all goes well!!!
