Any Dr. Kuri patients out there?

I had my surgery in may of 2009 by Dr Kuri. I have been reading on this forum that dr kuri uses the wrong kind of band or a band that is old, and this is kind of worrying me. In have had my band for 4 yrs with no problems with fills or anything. Should I still be worried?

Whats the problem with band? After four years I think you should be ok

I guess it is an older model that is now not allowed in the us. I have heard a lot of good and bad about both bands. Idk. Just kind of scary.

I wouldn't worry as long as it works. There may be a higher incidence of failure with the 4 CC band but if you have one that is working don't rock the boat.

There are thousands of them out there that still work just fine.
