Are there any restaurants out there that offer special portions and prices for banded people??

Thank you all for all the good info. Agree that kids menu is nothing but junk food anyways. It makes sence and is convenient to order a regular size high protein mean and save it for 2 more portions for home. Last night was the first time that i didnt order anything a at red robin and i just got some grill chicken from my daughters plate, a piece of fish from my son and a couple of fries and onion rings from the hubby. I was so full lol! that saved us money too. :)

One plan that worked for me was to ask for the to go container up front when the meal is served. Then and transfer all but my allotted portion to the take out container, and eat what is left on the plate. They may look at your strange, but it is your dinner anad your right to get what you want. I don't do well with lettuce, so I order salads without the lettuce.... yes, don't let them tell you they can't do it!

I just order a regular healthy meal and take home! It turns into 3 meals during the week!

I, too, order what I want and pack the rest away for another day. I've even frozen a portion because I knew I wouldn't eat it before it went bad. Totally different lifestyle now. I'm learning every day.
