have had this crud for a week and half and is making my band tight, sigh

Going on a week and half of this, I don't know, bronchitis junk, constant coughing, blowing my nose, fever etc. Anyway, I can hardly eat, it's making my band tight with all the drainage going on, I'm having to resort to soft, mushy, soups type of foods as if I've had a fill. Have been to the dr and have gotten an antibiotic and precrip cough med but its not helping. Eating tonight, got stuck, threw up, ended up drinking some hot tea. Guess it will be chicken soup tomorrow-twice! sigh. And it is supposed to be so nice here in Western Ky and I so want to get outside and walk but just not up to it, no energy. Dang it!!!!

Sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather.....I was banded two days ago and came home with this crap that sounds like what you have. I remember reading a post on here who said she went in sick or getting sick and it made her recovery worse. Well, I had a little cough but not anything to worry about or so I thought and now I am miserable trying to cough with my new stomach art work...LOL. But it will pass.....I hope you are better soon too. Take care.

Musinex 12 hour extended. Works.

I hope you feel better soon! I had that junk about 3 weeks before surgery. I was so scared that I'd have to put off my surgery because of the cough. Luckily, it went away before surgery, but I hadn't been that sick in a long time.
