1/2 to 1 cup of food question

I was banded on February 20 and am scheduled for my first fill on April 1. I'm down 15 lbs since surgery. They told me that if I was still losing between 1-2 lbs a week I may not need the fill. They also told me that I should be eating on a salad plate so I can manage my portions.

I can eat the whole salad plate and feel full and I stay full for a while but how do I know if I've had 1/2-1 cup without measuring everything on the plate. Or am I supposed to measure everything and make sure it's not over the 1 cup mark?

Yes measure everything and log everything you eat to make sure you're getting enough protein and calories.

I agree measure everything. Stay at 1 cup max if you can. Depending on how long it keeps you satisfied that will help make a decision on the fill.

I also eat half cup meals and I measure everything in volume. Best of luck to you.
