I Did It 4 Days Post Op And Happy!!!!

Well, what do I say. I had surgery Monday April 17th in Birmingham, AL. I am so happy. I feel alot better than I thought I was going to. I have a question for those who have already done this.

I have this weird feeling in my stomach/chest like I have to burp or hic up or something. It kinda hurts but it goes away pretty fast. I am still on clear liquids so is it just my stomach growling or something. I have not had any nausea so far.:clap2:

Any advice is welcome!!!!!!! I am all ears.If there is anyone else that has just been banded, email me and we can compare stories!

Hey Sarah,

I haven't seen you around MSN lately so I will say congrats here. I'm glad to know you made it though everything ok and your feeling well. Congratulations! Let the weight loss commence!

Awsome and good luck with your healing, don't over do it.

I am pre band, but what you are describing, sounds like those gas pains.????

Sarah,

I had the same thing when I had my surgery, it felt like I had a burp stuck in the back of my throat. I even called my doctor. He said it was normal and to take Gas X. It went away in a couple of days. I hope I put your mind at ease.
