With my chocolate Unjury shake I add a tsp of chocolate extract, almond extract and coconut extract. It tastes like an Almond Joy, yum!

Hey everyone! I was banded two days ago and sill be starting my Protein shakes in Monday! I wanted to know if you can suggest some sugar free flavored syrups to add to Protein Shakes that you enjoyed! Any and all recipes are welcomed!

Thank you!!

I use chocolate Body Fortress. I use 2 scoops, 8 oz of skim milk, a little Decaf instant coffee, peppermint extract and lots of ice. I use a blender and its as thick as a McDonalds shake. I have one every morning. I hate Breakfast foods. I love this. Good luck

Yum that sounds good! I just bought mint extract.. I'm hoping to somehow be able to recreate McDonald's shamrock shake!!

Body fortress also makes a chocolate Peanut Butter, available at Walmart. Now that I am on a regular diet, I haven't been drinking the shakes...should I be?

It is up to your doctor and dietitian about having the shakes. I know I get in a lot of Protein that way and I hate eggs so this is my Breakfast everyday. I am boring and only have them one way and don't try other flavors unless it was a mocha flavor.

Something I found today... if you love Peanut Butter but do not want the fat, sugar, and pain of mixing - Vitmin Shoppe has powdered Peanut Butter, both a plain & chocolate. I got the chocolate and it great. Mixes very easily and has a great choco-pb flavor.

Two tablespoons is 45 cal, 1.5g fat, 4g Protein, 5g carbs, 1g Fiber, 2g sugar.

I only used one and wow it is great! I am sure it can be found elsewhere, but that is where I got mine.

LOVE both of the PB2 products! I use them both. They have all the flavor of real Peanut Butter without the fat. You can add a little bit of Water or milk and use them as a spread too.

I just ordered these, I will be adding these too my Protein shakes :)

The above is a link to the Visalus site that has tons of recipes. Even without their base shake (which tastes like vanilla cake batter), the recipes are universal. I hope it gives everyone some ideas.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
