Overwhelming feeling of fear of failure

I'm getting banded in Wednesday morning and I have this overwhelming feeling that I am going to fail with the LapBand. I'm so worried that I will be hungry all of the time and I am not going to lose weight... Anyone else feeling this?

your so NOT alone...

I was so scared of failing it was one reason I did not tell people I was getting banded.....all I could see was failing yet again and ohhh what would they all say....

well now that im doing it....i am more open about telling people...

not a day or hour go by that I forget Im banded....its the best thing I have ever done for just ME yet affects so many of my loved ones....you will do just fine

You are not alone!

I have lost 50 lbs and have been banded for 5+ months and STILL worry if I will be a failure or not

Will I reach my goal?

Will I keep the weight off?

Will I lose track of my exercise regime?

I worry all the time

I am with you. I knew I had to have this surgery but as I the dieted since I was 14 years old I was scared I would fail again. I still have some weight to lose but beleive I am classed as a success having lost 80 percent of my excess weight I want to lose the rest and maintain but still a little scared I will put weight on again but I beleive that if I follow my surgeons Instructions I will live the dream of being healthy and slim x
