About to start Stage 2 of my diet which is FULL liquids . Can anyone suggest some good Soups or Protein Shakes I can try ? I've been drinking Isopure but I'm glad I'm able to advance to Protein shakes soon. Also where in the world can I find No Sugar Yogurt ?!?!

My Nut told me to eat Dannon Light & Fit

I used Pure Protein chocolate & GNC whey protein.

Good thing about GNC, if you don't like theirs, with receipt they will exchange it.

I second that premier shakes are very good. I'm guessing that what you really are looking for is no sugar added yogurt. Because yogurt is made out of milk and milk intrinsically have sugar.

I've been drinking nothing but Atkins Dark choc since my surgery - Protein you need almost 0

Sugar carbs and ready to drink - just make sure it's COLD!

Premier Protien forn Sams club or Walmart is great it taste like a milk shake I preferr the choclolate so far, no after taster and it has the most protien per shake that I have tried 30 grams of protien pre shake 1gram of sugar and 160 calories. You cn't beat it.

Careful with GNC. They are on commission and might not always be in your best interest.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
