Every once in a while I will eat 1/2 of a sandwich. I do have to lightly toast it or it get stuck. My bread of choice is nature's own whole wheat no sugar added bread. I do wish the food court at the mall had better options. I love the Greek vendor there it is one of.the healthier places and I get the grilled chicken hoagie with grilled onions and peppers. He uses olive oil and I only eat the inside of the sandwich, as I know that bread will get stuck.

I truly miss a nice roast beef sandwich on a good bread with mayo and salt and pepper.... Mmmmmmm. But, I have replaced that delicious bread with a perfectly adequate toasted flatbread, much less roast beef and light mayo and mustard..... More of a " head change" Same satisfaction level. That head hunger gets me every once in a while.

Been on a pre op diet since June, banded Aug 6, and haven't tried to eat a hamburger, french fries, or any type of sandwich since. I haven't craved lots of foods that I ate frequently prior to the band. I have to admit, it's high quality food items I eat or it doesn't go into my mouth. I WILL succeed in this band. Nothing will stop me. I want quality of life and good health for my future.

Best wishes
