lap band and insurance

My doctor wants me to have the lapband but my insurance says it wont cover it......help what do I do now.

    Sorry about that. A few years ago my insurance (Aetna) would not pay for WLS.

    Does your company just not cover it at all, or you don't qualify?

    I'm so sorry to hear that. I've heard there is financing through Care Credit. Perhaps you could look into that?
