Wait To Drink H2O After Have Popsicle?

I've been following my doctor's orders to not drink at least a half hour before and after meals, but what do you think a sf popsicle is? Water, or food? Don't know if I should wait to eat one after I've had a meal. I'm also not sure about drinking my unjury protein drink. Should I wait to drink water after I have one? Thanks for your answers. Sixteen days post surgery and you all have been SO helpful!

    I don't think popsicle or protein shakes qualify as meals? You can wait if you want, it is good practice for later!n Definitely wait after you start soft foods!
