If my 70 year old dad can do it......

So can you !!!

Just got back from visiting my dad in the hospital. He had surgery at 1:30 today and was sitting up talking, no pain meds, cracking jokes as usual. He said he felt as if he could eat a pizza right now !!!! He was getting ready to get out of bed and walk as I was leaving.

I am just sooooo proud of him, words can't express. He was so brave to do this at his age. He felt he needed to get his weight under control to live a few more years. I hope a couple more decades at least.

So for those about to have surgery, think about my 'ol man. He should be the poster child for the Band !!!!!!
