Sure I am guessing alot of us understand the way you are feeling. But its what you signed up for. I know I would have to be on liquids for 4 weeks (2 pre op and 2 post op) and then move to mushies for a week. I didnt like it but its what had to be done for a successful surgery and the proper healing of my band. Its mind over matter... it wont last forever.

I know that sounds like I am being uncompassionate but its the truth. You CAN get through this and when its over you should have a nice loss to kick start your journey and you body will have the time to heal that it needs.

I dont know what stage you are in but if your are on Clear Liquids... lots of chicken broth (sodium free) will help as do sugar free popsicles.

Best of luck!

What did your Dr. recommend. I had to be liquids for a week, mushies for a week, then gradually into normal food. You need to follow the recommendations at this point, it's very important. You are not supposed to eat solid foods, you do not want to shift your newly placed band. Your stomach is swollen and solids most likely will not go down. If you end up stuck and throw up it could be a real problem. Ya, you probably feel week. You just had major surgery 2 days ago. Drink Drink Drink.

Good Luck!

I'm on full liquids for 30 days. I set my regular food date on my phone, in case I forget what day it is.lol Nov 16th! I got a eating schedule from Dr and I do follow that.

I would def try to get your Protein shakes in. If you don't get in protein, your body starts robbing your muscles.

I'm not having as big a problem as many I read about, b/c I have been dieting for 7mths so I have no sugar or carb withdrawal. That's all I can figure anyway!

Best wishes on your journey!

If you don't feel like eating get the protient shakes in and do more clear liquids I had to do that, just didn't feel like food. now I am 10 weeks out and 20 bs off so its worth it .line dancing
