Banded With No Fills.

Was just banded two weeks ago,and I'm a little concerned about what my nurse told me a couple of days ago! When I asked her how much fill I would receive at my first appointment, she said that I may in fact not get a fill depending on how my weight lose is going. When I mentioned my surprise at this, she said that it has happened on a few occasions that men sometimes get enough restriction just by being banned in the first place. Does this sound at all logical to anyone. By the way they put a 14cc band in me, and if I'm not mistaken that is the largest one.

I never got my first fill for a whole year. It is true that some with just the restriction of the band they can lose a lot without a fill. I still only have 3'cc in a 10cc band after 3 years.

5 months no fill yet......but eating as if i am at full restriction...

So no... it is not unusual!
