Hi, I was chewing gum and accidentally swallowed it. I have never had a fill. Should I go to the hospital?

well, try not to panic as that doesnt solve anything

i am sure it is fine but if you can, give your dr a call if that eases your mind.

ps, dont fart as you may blow a bubble :)

You don't sound as though it is stuck.

Do you have a horrible pain in the centre of your chest? Are you salivating like crazy? Are you unable to swallow anything ,including Water, without it coming back up?

No? Then relax it has probably gone down.

Ok... It most likely went down. I found sugar free gum, and my breath was kicking. I had a meeting and didn't want to knock them out. I'm in such a habit of swallowing gum, I did it out of habit, but didn't realize until it was too late

I think you will be fine, if you are stuck really stuck you will know it.

I agree. If you're not having pain, you're fine. I chew gum all the time, I have yet to swallow it tho.
