Congrats on your wls! I was banded on 9/11 and did not experience that. I'm curious why your dr isn't having you drink the Isopure clear liquid Protein the first week.

Sometimes you can get loose bowels if you ingest too much fake sugar - I can't think of the name of it but it doesn't seem like your having that - although maybe the crystal light? I would check with your doctor. You don't want to get dehydrated.

Good luck!

oh child...take a breath.....i was the bathroom queen...spent my first few days post op hoping i made it to the potty

with my dr's ok, i took immodium ad to help and also took a probiotic capsule (that i opened and mixed with my protein shake) and that really helped me. since this is happening, stay hydrated and sip sip and drink all you can.

it does get better i promise

I had it too for the first few weeks. If we are only drinking fluids it makes sense, fluid in, fluid out. Once I started on more solid foods I settled. Just make sure you keep your water intake up so you don't dehydrate and if it doesn't settle in a week or so contact your clinic.
