Did You Feel You Need More Restriction?

I was banded on September 24. Today was probably my best day. I am on full liquids headed to soft but feel like I now need more restriction. I am not feeling as easily full as I did before. It is not the same as pre-band but definitely not as tight as when I first got home. Has anyone else felt this or have I moved my band off, LOL?

You are drinking and will be eating items that slip right on through the band, wait until you start eating solids and you will feel more full, you may still feel you need more restriction, but right now it's just the type of foods you are eating.

You are healing, the swelling in your stomach is going down. You will get hungrier as time goes on. Sorry but welcome to Bandster Hell. Now is when your will power will need to be strong. Until you get enough fills to feel restriction it is just a diet. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but I'm sure you will get though this just fine. Good luck.

Unfortunately, most people get no restriction until the 2nd - 4th fills. I didn't feel anything different until 5 mths post op and my 3rd fill. I don't remember learning that at my seminar! And, until you start eating actual food, you're not going to know how much restriciton you have anyway. The liquids and mushies slide right thru.

Have patience! Your time will come!

Thank you all for your answers. I greatly appreciate it. I guess I will just have to hang on. I just hear such great results and have seen them immediate post op that I want it to continue.
