Anyone Put On Progesterone Gel While Pregnant?

Since I've had two previous miscarriages my doc put me on vaginal progesterone gel.

So far so good but there is a serious amount of possible side effects that come with it some even for the baby!! Which has me a little nervous. Was wondering if anyone else has used this and what your experiance with it was.

After my daughter had 2 miscarriages

She was put on it. Now I have 3 beautiful grandkids 12,8& 4. The 12yo has Cerebral palsy, but nothing to do with progesterone. She was born at 23wks .

Her brother & sister, no problems all very smart 8yo is in 2nd grade & reads at 5th grade level. No medical problems.

Try not to worry! You're in my T&Ps!

I took progesterone pills when I was pregnant with my 2 year old. We're both happy and healthy. I'm not sure about the differences between the pill and the gel, but the pill saved my boy.

I took the vaginal progesterone with no side effects. No side effect was too big to deter me from having a child of my own. I had to take it every time IVF was done which was 4 times. Finally the 4th time worked. The progesterone really does help!

I'm takin it faithfully believe me! I don't think I could handle another miscarriage. Side effect just had me super nervous.

But with all meds they must include all possibilities regaurdless off how small the chances of it occuring are.

You're right about everything having along list if side effects. I always laugh at TV ads when the start listing them.
