Angelizz he is supporting me now he is ready for me too feel good about myself and to be me again

I am sooo happy for you! Take it slow and your going to succeed. Try not to compare yourself with everyone else here, OK. There is such a wide difference in weight needed to be lost, age, medications, doctors, support behind you, and... Emotional. Keep us updated here, we all support your decision.

I didn't even tell my husband until I had decided and scheduled the surgery. It was my decision and mine alone. It is my body and because the risk was so low on the surgery part, I didn't feel like he would need to have a final say. He was fine with it and is happy that I am happier with my body. He was one that was happy either way fat or skinny... But since he is only your boyfriend at this point, he really doesn't have say at all. JMO goodluck!!

Your boyfriend is putting his fears ahead of your happiness. That's not the way it's supposed to be. I agree with you, he may see his fears realized if he doesn't change his thinking.

Congratulations on the surgery! I just had my psych eval today and am waiting for a surgery date. Whooo Hoooo!
