I'm sorry to say its just now 1month after my lapband sx and I'm just now getting back to normal! I did develop a hematoma under my port incision though. So that was scary an painful I'm literally just now getting around with no pain after one month but all ppl heal different. Good luck!

Don't play doctor, keep the tapes on. After showering, dont rub, pat them dry. My surgeon told me to stay on Stage 1 (liquids & clear) for 14 days. The longer the better to give your stomach a chance to relax. I can drink my Protein shakes per my doctor. I freeze them for 40-45 and make the ice cold taste great.

I'm on 5 days since band on Aug 6 and I feel great. No more pain anywhere and no more vicodin.

Best wishes on your recovery
