ok guys, I have a question. When I first started my journey with the weight loss center they told me my insurance said that I would have to have 6 months of visits with a dietician. I called my insurance and verified and they told me no. I called the pre-cert number on the back of my card and they also told me no. They said they could not find it anywhere in my policy that it said that and it must be something that my weight loss center required. When I told the weight loss center that I checked with my insurance they haven't brought up the visits again. They are going ahead and submitting my chart to insurance for approval. I have Medical Benefits Mutual (MedBen). Has anyone encountered this problem? Am I not going to get approval from insurance?? 6 months will put me into next year and I'll have to start all over again with the deductible !!!
