I was just curious about this...my fiancé is finally having his first fill on Wednesday and he has to go to the hospital to get it done. My surgeon does them in his office, so it seems a little extreme to me. Does anyone else's surgeon do this?

Yes, I had to have my first fill done at the hospital so that they could view the images as fluoroscopic pictures. This is done as a precaution for the first fill only, to be certain that everything is in the proper place and functioning as it should.

After the first fill, all subsequent fills are done in the office, unless there is a problem.
