I'm researching the weight loss surgical centers in the Kansas City, Mo. area. I am considering the Institute for Advanced Bariatric Sugery. Had anyone had any experience with IABS ? I'd really appreciate any info or advice anyone has to offer. There are so many weight loss surgical centers out there it's hard to know which is best. Thanks so much.

I have to drive an hour to my doc, U of Minnesota. I think it is worthwhile, you are smart to find the best.

The hospital is actually called MISH (Minimally invasive surgical hospital), but it is the same place. I had mine done there in April and have been very happy with my progress so far.

The doctors are great (though they never run on time) and I'd be glad to answer any questions you may have!
