Out Of Town Trip

Am scheduled to have my first fill the day before I go out of town. Any suggestions? I am a little nervous, but luckily I am going with my 2 friends who know I had my band put in.

    Well, usually the first fill doesn't do much for restriction, but you are usually required to be on liquids for a few days, which doesn't sound too fun if you're having a fun weekend... Depending on where you're going, I would recommend postponing the appointment.

    my doctor says no fills withing 5-6 days of travel. I would reschedule. You never know what could happen where you need medical attention because of the fill.
