I do feel dizzy if I don't stay up on my water. On the first day I felt dizzy several times but it has gotten better for me. I'm now on day 5 and doing fairly good. I am having trouble getting all my water in. Hang in there hopefully you will start to feel better soon.

I did as well during my pre op diet. Just get all your fluids in and get up slowly. I'm 2 weeks post op and I still get dizzy but it's been tough getting all my 64oz in.

I hope your dizziness gets better soon. Best of luck to you :)

I started feeling a little dizzy during the pre-op and it continued to get worse and worse after the surgery. My PCP cut my BP med in half and it helped some, and then she took me all the way off it and I haven't had any dizziness since. I was probably only down about 20 pounds when she took me completely off it, so sometimes it doesn't take a great amount of weight loss to affect your meds.

yes shr, first couple of days. but i drank alot, did the pop sickles and the chicken broth and it goes away. took some tylenol when my head hurt but it will pass (i hope). i am day 8 so i am right there w/you GF

I started my liquid diet Sunday and I too am feeling some dizziness. Just trying to push through. Makes for a long day though.

hey ready, it will pass. if not, drink something cold and try to take your mind off of it. it does get easier.i recall reading that and thinking (yeah right) but its true. it really is. i now recall head hunger vs real hunger.

I am on day 2 of my liquid diet and I'm just going to be honest, it sucks! I think I decided to quit and not do the surgey at least four times yesterday. I haven't cheated (yet), but it is really hard! I don't even know if it's worth it anymore. The protein shakes don't do a thing for me. Yesterday I drank approximately 60 oz of water and had three shakes. I was dead at 7:30pm and went to bed in tears. I don't know if I can do this for two weeks. :(

pr, yes you can. i thought that very same thing. by day 3 or 4, this will all be the norm. are you drinking your broth?? thst does fill you up. dont forget the popsickles all you can eat.. you can do this.
