I Just Scheduled My First Pre-Op Appointment :)

I'm sooo excited :) next Thursday at 10am I have my first appointment and it's 2 hours long. Afterwards I have to have my blood drawn because my doctor's office didn't do 3 other tests GRRR but that's okay and I then schedule my second appointment :) I'm sooo excited that I can't stop smiling. I've been on my journey for 9 months so far (I know it doesn't seem that long) and I'm sooo excited that soon I'll be having surgery :)

Oh that's great :) I don't need any of that...I guess each place has their own Tests that they want done lol...I had to do a lot of stuff before I could even get my first appointment...my insurance demanded me seeing a nutritionist for 6 months before surgery and on top of that Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (the hospital where I'm going through their Bariatric program) has a whole packet of stuff that needs to be completed...they used to want a patient to lose 15 pounds before surgery...well in October I was 315 pounds and I'm currently 263 pounds :) I think I hit that even tho they now only go by if ur insurance wants u to lose a certain about of weight...food luck on ur journey :) let me know when ur surgery date is and maybe we can be lap band buddies if it's the same day :)
