I am 5 days post op. Still on a liquid diet. Here is a typical day: 1/2 coffee mug of tomato Soup for Breakfast, 1/2 coffee mug of Protein shake for lunch, and 1/2 coffee mug of Protein Shake for dinner. Does this sound right? I don't think I am getting 500 calories a day. I am starving to death, too. But I am really not for sure how much liquid I can drink/sip at one time. i don't want that pouch to get stretched out or the band to move.
How much should I really be drinking on this liquid diet? And how slowly do you sip it? Meaning is it like the eating where you wait a minute between bites? I am really confused and do not see my doctor for a few weeks. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks, Misti
