Should I Get My First Fill On Thursday?

Hey guys..I know I know.. I posted on here about a week ago that I didn't think I needed a fill but this week no weight loss! Even with working out 5 times a week. I did have some slip ups this week such as sushi ( california roll) half of an avocado burger from Chili's and an egg, cheese, turkey meat on wheat toast even though I couldn't finish it all. This is the first time since surgery I was able to get these foods in. I feel like such a loser and am wondering is this an indicator I should get my first fill on my next visit which is Thursday. I will be 5 weeks post op by then.

What does the doctor think?

Get a fill. I got a fill almost everytime I went in the first couple of months. Even little tweeks helped. It kinda sounds like you maybe able to eat to much at one sitting. I get full after a cup of food. And then I dont eat for several hours. Good luck

It's a personal choice, but the indicators are if you are eating quite a bit, and if you're hungry again in 2-3 hours, you probably do need a fill. I know that I am looking to get filled to restriction as quickly as possible, while still being safe, so I can take full advantage of the band and what it can do for me. I've had 3 fills so far of 1 cc each, and still not in my sweet spot.

Remember, they can always back some out if it's too much.

Remember you still need to make good food choices. You should'nt be so tight that you CANT eat a particular food. California roll is rice right? Too many carbs. Hamburger chili's is high in fat (chicken fajita is a better choice). The sandwich sounds high in fat and carbs. Using romaine lettuce instead of bread reduces the carbs. If you up the Protein lower the carbs and are hungry less then 4 hours later you need a fill.
